How will I be charged for the meat I have chosen?

Our frozen lamb is packaged in vacuum-sealed packages and delivered frozen. Package sizes are approximate weights and may vary +/- 10% to 20%. Your final price will be based on the price per pound for the actual packages you will be receiving. See the examples below. Some items, like Ground Lamb or Cubed Lamb are pre-packaged at 1 lb weights so their price is fixed.

If you would like to order more than one package, type in the number of packages you would like or use the up and down arrow buttons to the left of the “Add to Cart” button.

How will I know how much it costs?

When you place your order, we will be notified of your order and it will remain “pending” until we have packaged your requested cuts. Once we have your package ready, we will notify you of the weight and price, and send you payment instructions. You will be able to pay online, or at your pick-up/delivery location.

For example:
  • If you order one (1) package of Loin Chops (containing 2 pieces) with an approximate weight of 1.75 lbs, we may select two (2) loin chops for you that actually weigh 2.1 lbs. You will be notified that you will by purchasing one (1) package of loin chops containing 2 pieces at 2.1 lbs at $14 per lb for a total due of $29.40.
  • If you order one (1) package of Loin Chops (containing 4 pieces) with an approximate weight of 3.5 lbs each, we may select four (4) loin chops for you that actually weigh 4.2 lbs. You will be notified that you will by purchasing one (1) package of loin chops containing 4 pieces at 4.2 lbs at $14 per lb for a total due of $58.80.

We keep the variation in weight ranges as small as possible, however we are an artisanal meat processor with lambs from a small, hand-raised flock. Therefore, we package and process to provide the best cuts possible and this can create some variation in packaging weights.
