Fresh Spreadable Cheese: As Good As It Gets!
An all-purpose and favorite choice. Fresh sheep cheese is made with cultures and rennet, drained and ripened for as little as 24 hours. It is un-aged and similar in texture to cream cheese, although not as smooth, it is best used as a spreadable cheese. Serve on crackers, bread, apple slices, with pita chips; the options are endless! It can be plain or quite savory as we can add seasonings such as garlic and peppercorn, rosemary, fine herbs and spicy red chilis.
Our fresh spreadable cheese has a 3-4 week shelf life in a closed container in your refrigerator. These cheeses become softer and more spreadable as they warm to room temperature and their flavors are more enhanced when not served cold.
