Our rack of delicious ribs are perfect for a dry spice rub of your choice, cooking them on the grill, in the broiler or a heavy skillet. For maximum tenderness, braise or steam then finish on the grill.
You’ll love the flavor of Verde Oveja’s happy, healthy, pasture-raised lamb. In addition to rich, lush pasture, our lambs are fed a all-natural, hand-crafted grain-based feed for additional nutrients and care. This is the highest quality lamb you will find in Ecuador. Lamb Ribs our prepared from the ribs, backbone, and in some cases, the rib eye muscle. The meat in lamb ribs is close to the bone, which makes them very flavorful. Lamb ribs are perfect for braising and grilling. As they are mainly bone, they usually take a longer time to cook then most lamb cuts.
This cut is packaged as one (1) rack of ribs per package at approximately 1.2 lbs. Package sizes are approximate and may vary in weight +/- 10% – 20%. Your final price will be based on the price per pound for the package you will receive. Click on the “Details” tab to learn more.
BASIC COOKING TECHNIQUE
Sear on the grill over high heat, then finish using indirect heat. Can also be braised and seared on the grill to finish.
